What is MAT?
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) combines medications and behavioral therapy to treat substance addiction. This means that treatment for individuals with opioid (and other) addictions could include FDA approved medication, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies.
At Infinity Medical we believe in a “whole patient” approach for the successful treatment of substance abuse disorder. According to SAMHSA this approach has been shown to:
